It’s been a busy week in the basement! The east stairs to the basement were removed, all the walls are removed near those stairs; the lift was moved; ceiling tiles, lights, and carpet was installed in the rooms downstairs, and more painting happened. Construction in the basement continues — electrical, framing, insulation, finishing the restrooms and more!  Please use the new restrooms beginning today!  

Lots of demolition has occurred in the basement! Walls have come down, and new walls have been framed. Electrical work continues to happen and the staff is getting settled in their new offices. Please do not use the back stairs. You can also start using the new restrooms next Sunday!          

Beginning next Sunday, kids will remain in the service for the whole time. They will not be dismissed downstairs to KidsCrossing! $234,900.41 has been given to the Building Fund from  10/1/2010 through 1/1/2012!!   That’s more than 100% of the pledged amount of $233,581.11 and 94% of the $250,000 goal.  Praise God!  

The carpeting was installed in the office suite, cabinets were installed in the work room, work continued in the bathrooms downstairs. Staff will be moving into their offices over the next two weeks!
