Lots happened this week! More painting, more “de-construction” in the northeast corner of the basement (new Preschool room and stairs!), and the opening for the new stairs was made, the sink was installed in the nursery, and more!! Thank you, Just Builders!
We made history on Sunday! The vote to proceed with our building program was unanimous and now the journey begins! Thanks to all of you who were able to attend and stand behind this “first” in the history of AWCC. Because we are proceeding, we will have a Groundbreaking Celebration and lunch this Sunday, May 22….
Painting was done, the installation of the rail for the handicap ramp started, tile work began in the bathrooms, new doors were installed, and more electrical work was completed!

We are on the homestretch with construction activities for Phase I! The 5th classroom room in the basement is now done and almost occupied. On the outside of our new addition, you will see windows, waterproofing, and bricks. On the inside, framing in the new addition is well underway. Concrete in the basement floor has been opened up to place required drain lines. Installation of a new furnace unit will be underway soon. The nursery room is being reconfigured…
