Construction Update Week of June 3

There was a lot accomplished again this week! The coils for the heated sidewalks were laid, concrete was poured, stucco work  was down outside, more glass was installed in the new entry, and a team moved into the kitchen!  

$234,900.41 has been given to the Building Fund from  10/1/2010 through 1/1/2012!!   That’s more than 100% of the pledged amount of $233,581.11 and 94% of the $250,000 goal.  Praise God!  

Brick work continued this week, the handicap ramp was started and more contractors were here doing their work. In this next week, new electrical service will be on Monday, more work on the handicap ramp, HVAC and mechanical contractors will continue their work, and the east wall between the sanctuary and the new addition will…

Our addition on the east end of the church building is taking shape. Framing of the  main floor is  underway, and  will continue  next week. On the lower level, demolition of the east basement wall is complete so that the kitchen and mechanical room now open into the new  addition.  (Sorry, no tours just yet.)…

Work continues. Brick is going up on the outside, walls are coming down on the inside, Xcel hooked up the gas line, so we now have a furnace, and work continues on the handicap ramp. Mark will let us know when it is safe to look around downstairs, so until then, please stay out of…

Lots happened this week! More painting, more “de-construction”  in the northeast corner of the basement (new Preschool room and stairs!), and the opening for the new stairs was made, the sink was installed in the nursery, and more!! Thank you, Just Builders!
