Construction Update Week of March 25

More brick went up on the tower — it’s almost done! Framing continues in the upstairs office area. Work continues downstairs in the kitchen and bath areas. It’s exciting to see all the changes! Thank God for this great adventure!  

Recent progress by the Building Team towards our Phase 1 building expansion includes: Lee Architects completed a full drawing set which was submitted to Jefferson County for “plan review” on March 18. Jeffco completed their review and issued our building permit on April 1! The team has completed interviews of 4 candidates for general contractor…

The Cry Room window is in! Concrete work was done  downstairs and  installation of mechanical (heating and cooling) and electrical systems are underway.  New telephone and network cables will be installed soon which is work done “by owner.”  Andy Platt and Tim Sophocles are taking the lead on this task.  New cabinets for the kitchen…

The new sewer line is in — and you can get in the front doors to church!  It was a huge job. Electrical work continues and will continue next week. The kitchen is all cleared out. Exciting times ahead!  

      The floor in the community room was completed, electrical work happened in the preschool room, the lift was worked on, glass was installed on the west side (looks awesome!), and the bricks were removed from the north side in preparation for the new entrance! More insulation and dry walling happened in the basement this week. It’s looking great! Continue to keep Mark, his workers and Just Builders in your prayers!
