There was a lot accomplished this week! Sheet rock was installed in the preschool room and the new lobby and stairway, the cement was poured for part of the new entrance; the new front doors were installed; lots of excavation happened; stucco installation began; and work on the lift continued.
Painting was done, the installation of the rail for the handicap ramp started, tile work began in the bathrooms, new doors were installed, and more electrical work was completed!
On Sunday mornings, have you noticed that there’s lots of children at AWCC? It’s so wonderful to hear their voices and see their enthusiasm! The time is coming for the kids have their own time of worship downstairs in their new rooms! That’s where you come in! We are in need of many more volunteers…
The Preschool Room looks awesome, the brick work looks great. Just waiting for the manufacturer to deliver the glass for the entry way and some inspections. It’s getting close to being completed!
It’s official!! Congrats to Pastor Sarah Lynch who was granted a Bi-Vocational license for pastoral ministry by vote of the Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church on Friday, June 22, 2018. We thank God for her faithful ministry to the AWCC Family and rejoice with her in this significant ministry milestone!
We are on the homestretch with construction activities for Phase I! The 5th classroom room in the basement is now done and almost occupied. The new lobby stairway is installed, the community room floor is down, the new preschool room is framed and insulated, trim work around the outside windows was done, prepping the foundation for the new front steps took place. It’s getting closer to being done!
