Construction Update December 18

Bathrooms are tiled, electrical work continued, trimming work was done, and kitchen
cabinets were installed! Another busy week!

    Our addition on the east end of the church building is taking shape. Framing of the  main floor is  underway, and  will continue  next week.     Construction Update Week of March 25

    There was a lot accomplished this week! Sheet rock was installed in the preschool room and the new lobby and stairway, the cement was poured for part of the new entrance; the new front doors were installed; lots of excavation happened; stucco installation began; and work on the lift continued.

    Construction Week of March 11

    The new lobby stairway is installed, the community room floor is down, the new preschool room is framed and insulated, trim work around the outside windows was done, prepping the foundation for the new front steps took place. It’s getting closer to being done!

    Ground Breaking This Sunday!

    We made history on Sunday! The vote to proceed with our building program was unanimous and now the journey begins! Thanks to all of you who were able to attend and stand behind this “first” in the history of AWCC. Because we are proceeding, we will have a Groundbreaking Celebration and lunch this Sunday, May 22….

    Building Team Update

    Our contract has been signed and in effect.  Phase I  construction will be underway late this week. When you arrive at church next weekend, construction fences will be in place:  feel free to look, but don’t go into the construction zone.  One inconvenience to the building is that we must cut off the natural gas…
