Work continues. Brick is going up on the outside, walls are coming down on the inside, Xcel hooked up the gas line, so we now have a furnace, and work continues on the handicap ramp. Mark will let us know when it is safe to look around downstairs, so until then, please stay out of…

$234,900.41 has been given to the Building Fund from  10/1/2010 through 1/1/2012!!   That’s more than 100% of the pledged amount of $233,581.11 and 94% of the $250,000 goal.  Praise God!  

More brick went up on the tower — it’s almost done! Framing continues in the upstairs office area. Work continues downstairs in the kitchen and bath areas. It’s exciting to see all the changes! Thank God for this great adventure!  

Beginning next Sunday, kids will remain in the service for the whole time. They will not be dismissed downstairs to KidsCrossing! Just Builders is working on reconfiguration of our HVAC (heating and cooling) system and on the vent hoods for the new kitchen.  Once these mechanical systems are complete, electricians from Goodman heating systems will be on site to install new electrical circuits.  New telephone and network cables will be installed soon which is work done…

Lots of demolition has occurred in the basement! Walls have come down, and new walls have been framed. Electrical work continues to happen and the staff is getting settled in their new offices. Please do not use the back stairs. You can also start using the new restrooms next Sunday!          

Building Update for the week of July 10-16: Excavation for Phase I construction is complete.
