Construction Week of October 16

Work continues. Brick is going up on the outside, walls are coming down on the inside, Xcel hooked up the gas line, so we now have a furnace, and work continues on the handicap ramp. Mark will let us know when it is safe to look around downstairs, so until then, please stay out of…

The carpeting was installed in the office suite, cabinets were installed in the work room, work continued in the bathrooms downstairs. Staff will be moving into their offices over the next two weeks!  

The Cry Room window is in! Concrete work was done  downstairs and  installation of mechanical (heating and cooling) and electrical systems are underway.  New telephone and network cables will be installed soon which is work done “by owner.”  Andy Platt and Tim Sophocles are taking the lead on this task.  New cabinets for the kitchen…

      The floor in the community room was completed, electrical work happened in the preschool room, the lift was worked on, glass was installed on the west side (looks awesome!), and the bricks were removed from the north side in preparation for the new entrance! $234,900.41 has been given to the Building Fund from  10/1/2010 through 1/1/2012!!   That’s more than 100% of the pledged amount of $233,581.11 and 94% of the $250,000 goal.  Praise God!
