Construction Week of March 11

There was a lot accomplished again this week! The coils for the heated sidewalks were laid, concrete was poured, stucco work  was down outside, more glass was installed in the new entry, and a team moved into the kitchen!  

Lots happened this week! More painting, more “de-construction”  in the northeast corner of the basement (new Preschool room and stairs!), and the opening for the new stairs was made, the sink was installed in the nursery, and more!! Thank you, Just Builders!

Inspections were completed this week. Installation was installed and drywall was delivered and installed. If you’d like to take a look around the new addition, upstairs and downstairs, it is now safe for you to do that! It’s exciting to see the progress that’s happening. Keep praying for Mark and his team.  

The Cry Room window is in! Concrete work was done  downstairs and  installation of mechanical (heating and cooling) and electrical systems are underway.  New telephone and network cables will be installed soon which is work done “by owner.”  Andy Platt and Tim Sophocles are taking the lead on this task.  New cabinets for the kitchen…

This past week, Just Builders, began framing the new east addition.  This next week they will continue framing and will also break through the old foundation walls into the lower level of the building.  This begins the process of merging the new addition with the existing building. More insulation and dry walling happened in the basement this week. It’s looking great! Continue to keep Mark, his workers and Just Builders in your prayers!
