The new lobby stairway is installed, the community room floor is down, the new preschool room is framed and insulated, trim work around the outside windows was done, prepping the foundation for the new front steps took place. It’s getting closer to being done!

Lots of demolition has occurred in the basement! Walls have come down, and new walls have been framed. Electrical work continues to happen and the staff is getting settled in their new offices. Please do not use the back stairs. You can also start using the new restrooms next Sunday!
The new sewer line is in — and you can get in the front doors to church! It was a huge job. Electrical work continues and will continue next week. The kitchen is all cleared out. Exciting times ahead!
Inspections were completed this week. Installation was installed and drywall was delivered and installed. If you’d like to take a look around the new addition, upstairs and downstairs, it is now safe for you to do that! It’s exciting to see the progress that’s happening. While we have not yet started construction on Phase I, we are making progress toward that goal. We are working trough details of our contract with Just Builders, checking insurance coverage for both parties, and setting up an escrow account with National Covenant Properties from which construction payments will be made. More brick went up on the tower — it’s almost done! Framing continues in the upstairs office area. Work continues downstairs in the kitchen and bath areas. It’s exciting to see all the changes! Thank God for this great adventure!
