Building Team Update
While we have not yet started construction on Phase I, we are making progress toward that goal. We are working trough details of our contract with Just Builders, checking insurance coverage for both parties, and setting up an escrow account with National Covenant Properties from which construction payments will be made. We don’t have a firm date set for ground breaking, but stay tuned! Other progress includes:
- The Building Team hosted a neighborhood information meeting on June 6. Only four of our neighbors attended, but a small turnout was not a surprise. They like what we have done with the property!
- The Interior Design Team continues to work on concepts for the interior finishes.
- The kitchen shelves and cupboards have been cleared out in anticipation of construction.
