We at AWCC have a heart for our surrounding community. We believe that serving our neighbors - both those in our neighborhood as well as in the wider scope of our city, state & world - is essential in sharing the love of Jesus.
Royal Family Kids Camp
AWCC support Royal Family Kids Camp with not only with funds, but also with several volunteers that commit to prayer, training, and a week of camp for children that are in the Colorado foster care system.
AWCC partners with the Severe Weather Shelter Network to provide emergency overnight shelter on life-threatening winter nights for individuals living on the streets. Our guests, as well as our church, have been truly blessed by this ministry. We are also grateful for fellow churches in our area that assist us in providing prayer, funding, and volunteers.
Short-term Mission teams go to Ecuador from AWCC each year, connecting and serving with various ministries (For His Children, Dump Ministry, Women’s Ministry and others). These trips have provided long term ministry relationships and connections that continue to grow.
Community Garden
Our Community Garden offers several small garden plots for community use by both AWCC family and residents of the Community every summer. Connecting with our neighbors has been a special blessing in this ministry.
Little Free Pantry
The Little Free Pantry has been available to our neighbors and passersby since April, 2018. Stocked by the AWCC family, the Pantry provides food every week to those in need.
