Adult Ministries
At AWCC we hope to engage the whole family in the community. Through out the summer, we will host our Alafia community dinner on the first Wednesday of every month. Join us June 4th for a great time to connect with others and share a meal around the table.
If you have any questions please email us at office@awcclive.org with question.
Women's Ministries
Women at AWCC have a variety of options open to them for connection. Each month starts with the Women's Breakfast (1st Saturdays at 8:30am). It’s an opportunity to be together, build relationships, share a meal, and listen to a devotion from an AWCC family member.
In addition to breakfast, there is a yearly Women's Retreat in the Rocky Mountains where participants spend time connecting with God and each other. Also, AWCC ladies meet often for hiking outings, coffee or meals out, and for special occasions. The simple act of gathering at someone's home to study the Word and be part of each other's lives is time well spent.
Men's Ministries
The third Saturday of each month, all the men at AWCC are invited to a Men’s Breakfast. It’s a time for the men to eat a good healthy (not!) breakfast, build friendships, and share in a devotion from an AWCC family member.
An early morning Men's group meets every Wednesday at 6:30am for prayer and discipleship, and other groups meet on weekends or evenings to share in each other's lives and the fellowship of seeking Jesus together. Each year the men also plan a mountain retreat, taking time to slow down and connect with God through nature.
Life Groups
Joining a Life Group is a great way to really get to know other folks at AWCC. These groups typically meet twice a month at varying times throughout the week. Some groups are young couples and singles, some are young marrieds with kids, and some are intergenerational. Each Community Group decides what they will study — it may be a book of the Bible, a book study or watching a DVD series on a topic. There’s a Community Group that’s just right for you.
