Our church began as an act of faith in the early 1990s, driven by a shared need and dedicated prayers among families in Applewood. Many families were traveling a long way to find a church that offered a thoughtful, Bible-based worship experience. Fortunately, our vision connected with the growing Arvada Covenant Church, leading to the decision to start a new Covenant church. With support from our parent church and the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), we quickly began our mission of worship, fellowship, and outreach in the Applewood community.
We officially launched in 1994 and were committed to serving the Applewood community from day one. Initially, we met in borrowed spaces, like a local school and another church. These experiences helped deepen our faith and reliance on the Spirit rather than our physical location. In 2005, we found a permanent home at 32nd Avenue and I-70, a true testament to God’s provision. Despite this, our focus has always remained on serving the Applewood community, and we see every member of the community as an essential part of our mission.
After thirty years, we continue to be a welcoming, caring, and vibrant presence in the community. Our mission, rooted in shared needs and prayer, is as strong as ever. We strive to provide a space where everyone can experience the generous love of Christ, and our commitment to this mission is unwavering.
