VBS – Missions at Home Opportunity!
Mark your calendars. June 27 – July 1st AWCC will be hosting a VBS. Our theme this year is Savannah Safari where elementary-aged kids will learn how Love H.E.L.P.S. Others. This is a great opportunity for some missions at home, where you can help our own kids and those of the Applewood community to learn about and grow in Jesus.
If you are interested in being a part of this at-home mission, please let Sarah Lynch know or sign up on the form in the lobby. Here are some areas where we need help:
- Welcome Team/Sign In Table
- Tour guide (group leader)
- Assistant to tour guide
- Snacks – prep and/or serving
- Decorations/Art Crew
- Decorating/Setup
- Clean-up
- Nursery for volunteers’ kids
- Bible story teaching team
- Crafts team
- Games team
- Marketers and flyer team(s) – we can work in groups to distribute door hangers throughout the neighborhood
- Supplies – we will need several various supplies for the week if you can donate
