Have you considered gardening at the Applewood Community Garden which is right in the backyard of our church?? It’s a great opportunity to connect with our neighbors as 80% of the plots are rented by folks from the neighborhood! It’s also wonderful to raise your own organically grown food! There are plots available right now and we will be having a sign up meeting on March 13th, 6:30 pm. If you want a plot in the garden you have to be at this meeting (at least long enough to sign papers)!
Bring a soup, a salad or dessert to the sign up along with your own dishes & silverware (to take back home and wash . . . be green!)
