What is CHIC? It stands for “Covenant High in Christ” and is an event for thousands of high school students across the nation. The purpose of CHIC is to be a catalyst that inspires Christ-like change; challenging students to see themselves as part of something bigger and inspiring them on the journey of following Christ. This is accomplished through gathering for small group Bible study and devotion, large group gatherings with speakers and music, and outdoor recreation.
This July, several of AWCC’s youth are going to CHIC in Knoxville, TN. They’re each responsible for raising the funds to go, so if you need any help around the house, please consider “hiring” one of these youths to help with their fundraising. Contributions are tax-deductible and should be made out to AWCC with “CHIC” on the memo line.
Please contact any of these students who will be attending CHIC to make arrangements to “hire” them!
