Glass Hearts is pleased to announce it has partnered with Jefferson County Fatherhood Program and Jefferson County Human Services to implement a young fathers program for dads ages 16-24 who live within Jefferson County. Glass Hearts will be assisting young fathers in Jefferson County with an array of free services to improve the parenting, education, job training, and employment of project participants.
Young Father participants must be a father whose child is born, 16-24 years old, and lives in Jefferson County, or child(ren) live in Jefferson County. The young fathers will commit to attending weekly large group meetings that cover specific topics that are created for young fathers to assist in gaining physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual growth.
Dads of all ages are needed to become mentors to these young dads! You don’t have to be a perfect dad to mentor. In fact, these young men can learn from the successes as well as the challenges you’ve had as a dad! If you’d like to find out more or sign up to be a mentor, contact Rick Ellsmore, Program Director and Glass Hearts Executive Director at 303.260.9351 or email@example.com.
